Furnished Premium Apartment in Central Berlin

from € 1,690 / month
including WiFi, electricity, heating and so much more.

We are Anja and Hendrik, lucky to own this charming apartment in central Berlin / Prenzlauer Berg. It is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This was our home for almost a decade, the magic of which we want to preserve after we've moved out.  That's why we very much enjoy letting it to like-minded people, digital natives and expats from all over the world. Typical lease periods are between 3 and 12 months only.

Solid wood, stone, steel and glass. Upcycled euro pallets, combined with premium interior, air conditioning and top brand appliances. Still we kept our apartment’s individual character. Solid oak parquet flooring. Wood everywhere. We reduced plastic or coated surfaces wherever possible. The living room used to serve as an artist’s photo atelier. It is quite spacious, it has an additional high level bed / loft bed and it offers plenty of storage space.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a table & chairs, cupboards & shelves, induction hotplates, microwave/convection hybrid oven, full-size dishwasher, washing machine, heat pump dryer and refrigerator. It is also equipped with air conditioning, which guarantees a fresh breeze in periods of excessive summer heat. From here you can reach the charming balcony on the courtyard side.

Come as you are. You don’t need to bring anything – except your MacBook maybe. Bed lining, Towels, WiFi, electricity, a SONOS FIVE system, calibrated to the room acoustics – you name it. It’s all there. Just as a Samsung washing machine, a Siemens heat pump dryer, an ironing station and much more. We deliberately don’t want a TV set, though. Instead, just bring your mobile devices and enjoy unlimited video and audio streaming.

Two supermarket discounters are only three minutes‘ walk away, all items for daily needs are available in the vicinity. Take-away food of all kinds is within walking distance, and home delivery food is at your fingertips anyway. On Sundays, check out Berlin’s most fascinating flea market at Mauerpark. Take the tram to get there in just 10 minutes without changing lines.

You could hardly have a better public transport connection. Both the bus line 200 and the tram line M10 are just 80m away. Without changing lines, you can get to Berlin’s most famous places in almost no time: Alexanderplatz (11 minutes),  Mauerpark flea market (8 Minutes), Unter den Linden (20 minutes), Warschauer Str., Amazon Tower, Revaler Str. & Mercedes Benz Arena (11 minutes each), Berlin Hauptbahnhof (20 minutes), Brandenburg Gate (23 minutes), Governmental district (18 minutes), Potsdamer Platz (27 minutes) and so many more.

Parking is still free in our street, an absolute exception within Berlin’s S-Bahn ring. But you won’t need a car in Berlin anyway. Just get yourself a BVG ticket or a bicycle and you’ll be fine.

On boy… check out the Bötzow quarter with its numerous cafés, galleries, small shops, ateliers and creative places. It’s just round the corner.

The historic Cinema Filmtheater am Friedrichshain is within walking distance, and the large Friedrichshain Park is just across the street. It offers free public climbing rocks, beach volleyball facilities, elegantly maintained gardens and endless walking paths –  not even to mention numerous playgrounds, two mountains, a real lake with fountains, an open air cinema and the famous Café Schönbrunn with it’s fabulous beer garden. Its summer nights are legendary.

In just 10 minutes, the tram will take you directly to Berlin’s club culture hotspot around Warschauer Str. / Revaler Str., with its world famous clubs such as Berghain or Cassiopeia. So party as hard as you can – as long as you don’t do it inside your apartment 🙂

And if you’re more into Classical and Jazz, the Bus 200 will take you directly from your apartment to the Berlin Philharmonie (home to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra) at Potsdamer Platz or to the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden.

Finding your way in Berlin and dealing with German institutions can be frustrating. We are more than happy to share our knowledge and our tips with you, no matter if you need to register with the authorities or if you just want to know where to find the best vegan bowls in town.

The monthly rent is €1690, it includes electricity, water, heating, WiFi internet, waste disposal, and last but not least the notorious German „Rundfunkbeitrag“. This rent is for occupancy with one person and a contract period of 5 months or more. For shorter periods of three or four months, the monthly rent will be 150 € higher. One or two months are available at 1990 € / month. Occupancy with two people is possible at an extra charge of 150 € per month.

A security deposit of two months‘ rent or a corresponding German deposit insurance certificate (e.g. by kautionskasse.de or heysafe.de) will be required.

You will receive the apartment perfectly clean and in top condition. Upon moving out, final cleaning will be charged at €25/hour according to time and expenditure.  Of course you may reduce this to zero by own effort, though we doubt that this would make any economic sense.

We will assist you to register (so-called „Anmeldung“). The apartment is available for temporary accommodation needs only. We are not renting out to anyone who wants to (re)locate to Berlin or seeks permanent residence here, regardless of the reason. You will have to declare why your permanent centre of life will continue to be in some other place.

You should have a net income of at least € 3500 per month. Proof of income and proof of identity must be provided. Non-EU citizens must provide a residential permit.

The apartment will next be available from

October 15, 2024.
